An Italian classic, this simple and tasty pizza is also vegan.
1 pizza base, 25 – 30cm in diameter (see our recipe for a homemade pizza base)
4 tablespoons tomato passata (sieved tomatoes or tomato puree)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
1 large garlic clove, finely chopped
6 cherry tomatoes, halved
sea salt to taste
Extra virgin olive oil, to drizzle
Preheat the oven to 220 C. Combine the passata with oregano and garlic, then spread over pizza base. Arrange the cherry tomatoes. Sprinkle over sea salt.
Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until the pizza base is crisp and lightly golden around the edges.
Drizzle the pizza with a little more olive oil, then serve immediately.
